That’s Natural prides itself on complete traceability of its supply chain – starting with the full-spectrum CBD-rich hemp oil that makes our product so unique. We sat down with some of our farmers to ask them the following questions.
What made you decide to get into hemp farming?
We came to Colorado in 2014 and we were involved in the first industrial hemp farm on the Western Slope. Since then, we have come to believe that between hemp fiber, CBD, and hemp seed oil, that this plant is going to create a revolution in many aspects of people’s lives.
Coming from Israel, what are the opportunities that you see with what you are doing here in the U.S.
Coming from Israel, where hemp research and development has been extensive for years, we believe that we have a great opportunity to combine the research and development from Israel with mass production in Colorado and participate with local R&D facilities to create a synergy of information sharing. This cooperation allows us to introduce high technology irrigation methods to the United States, and the ability to contribute to the development of local agriculture.
What expertise do you bring to the field of hemp farming and production of cannabinoids and terpenes?
Our team consists of an Agronomist – Asaf H. Liling, a Geneticist – Yoav Giladi, and a product and team manager – Tomer Moldovon. With our combined expertise we have the ability to bring consistent and stable large-scale fields. We are conducting a breeding program to improve the performance of our strain in three different locations: Colorado, Israel, and Spain – sharing information and combining our efforts to get to some of the best industrial hemp strains. In addition, we are conducting DNA extractions and sequencing, which will allow us to better connect between genotypes and phenotypes. This will then allow us to better custom fit cannabinoid and terpene profiles to the specific needs of each individual.
What are your farming practices – how do you grow your help?
We are proudly growing organically – using no pesticides, and our farming methods are brought from Israel along with drip irrigation and high technology controlling systems.
What do you foresee with the hemp that you are farming?
We believe that hemp will be a standard industrial agricultural crop, and we want to provide the supporting technologies that will help Colorado become a leading cultivation center in the United States. We hope that people will fully acknowledge the amazing benefits of this plant, a fact that surely will lead to a revolution.
What is the most exciting thing about what you are doing?
That it is the path to freedom.

That’s Natural products are considered to be full spectrum meaning they contain cannabinoids and terpenes from the whole plant. Every mammal has an endocannabinoid system, which is fueled by these cannabinoids and terpenes. The combination of these compounds help to provide what is known as the entourage effect. Here you can listen to Dr. David Allen explain how the endocannabinoid system contributes to how our immune system and nervous system function. By providing pure, potent, and trusted products, That’s Natural continues to strive to meet our customer’s needs – something we have been doing for twelve years! With 100% traceability of where our hemp comes from, you can be confident in what you are putting on, or in, your body.
